If you're looking for a meaningful activity to do with someone who has dementia, then check out some books from the library on American artists such as Norman Rockwell, Ansel Adams, Grandma Moses, Andy Warhol, Georgia O'Keefe, and others! Pro Tip: Books with large pictures on interesting topics such as coffee table books can be a good way to distract and redirect away from agitated and repetitive behaviors.
